Help Newton residents switch over to 100% Renewable Electricity in Newton Power Choice. It is one of the greatest and easiest ways to lower Newton’s carbon footprint.

School Connections Meeting – Thursday, February 13, 3:45pm-5pm (3rd floor arc area of the Newton Free Library)
The group provides a forum for parents, students and educators to promote sustainability in Newton schools. Sign the petition to get climate change education into the Newton Public Schools.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Action Team Meeting – Tuesday, January 14 from 7pm-8:30 (Please email about location)
We welcome all who would are interested in learning about and sharing their experience with reducing, reusing, and recycling as climate action.

Home Efficiency and Heat Pumps – Thursday, January 16 from 6-7:30pm (StudioHPDC – 151R Adams St., Newton)
We welcome all who are interested in learning about and sharing their experience with energy efficient home improvements. The next meeting will be a talk on High Performance Homes 101. Please park on the street.

Food as Climate Action Team ‘Meatless & Greet’ GN Potluck Dinner – Thursday, January 16 from 6-8:30pm (Location given upon registration)
The next Food as Climate Action Team meeting is a meatless potluck! Sign up so we know how many to expect. Please bring a meatless dish and the recipe and feel free to bring family and friends!
