The Newton Safe Routes to School Task Force (SRTS) is inviting Newton Public Schools students to participate in statewide a lawn sign design contest on “anti-idling.” This year the Newton SRTS is undertaking a campaign to reduce car idling at schools for student health. More information on why idling is so bad in school zones is here.
