If you were unable to attend Green Newton’s Open Meeting at City Hall in November, you are still welcome to participate in our activities. Around 80 like-minded attendees gathered together at our first meeting to make a commitment to do more to help combat climate change and become engaged at the local level. Our newly formed Green Action Teams will focus on the following topics: Home Efficiency and Heat Pumps; Transportation; Food as Climate Action; Reduce, Reuse, Recycle; Advocacy and Initiatives; Youth Education and Schools.
