Not all travel-sized toiletries are recyclable. Small, empty plastic bottles longer than 3” can go in the household recycling bin, but send tubes to the trash. Full sized plastic tubes are also not recyclable, and you may want to rethink purchasing products in these containers. Products such as shampoo and conditioner bars are very portable and eliminate the potential for hiccups at the airport security line.
