All are welcome to a virtual Lunch-Climate-Action monthly actionar, “Electrifying the MBTA’s Commuter Rail: A Climate Justice Solution” with Jackson Moore-Otto, Regional Rail lead for Transit Matters. The presentation will focus on the importance of electrifying the commuter rail system–making it cleaner, faster, more frequent, and more accessible. For our action at the end of the event, we will urge relevant executive agencies to commit to electrifying and improving service on commuter-rail lines—with copies to our legislators.
