Greenspot is donating free charging for electric vehicles (EV) at all of their stations nationwide to encourage people to continue to think green during the stressful and uncertain days brought on by the effect of the COVID-19 outbreak. The charging stations in Newton are:
- Lexington Lot (441 Lexington St. in Auburndale)
- Richardson Lot (23 Richardson St. in Newtonville)
There are also a number of locations in Brookline.
Additionally, at the Richardson lot, both a Tesla Model S and Tesla Model X are available for public rental. Register to rent the vehicle on the Turo app or website.
