Green Newton

We are close to 100 pairs!

Students for a Greener World collected sneakers for recycling and reuse during NewtonSERVES on Sunday, April 30 at Newton City Hall. This was our third year with this project, inspired by Cabot Elementary’s Green Team, and we have collected and distributed over 300 re-usable pairs so far.  Sneakers in good condition will be distributed to individuals in need, and the rest will be taken to Nike’s outlet in Wrentham for recycling.
