The bill to raise our state’s Renewable Portfolio Standard(RPS), one solid path on our road to renewables, has been referred to the Joint Committee on Telecommunications, Utilities, and Energy (TUE). The TUE Committee has scheduled a public hearing on the RPS for September 19 at the State House in Boston. In addition to meeting your own representatives, this hearing is your chance to testify and show your support to the TUE committee, which is charged with deciding whether or not to vote this bill back out “favorably,” before the wider vote.
