The Mass Save HEAT Loan Program provides the opportunity to apply for 0% loans to assist with the installation of qualified energy-efficient home improvements including:
- weatherization upgrades,
- pre-weatherization barriers (insulation or air-sealing),
- condensing boilers and furnaces,
- water heaters (oil, propane, gas),
- ENERGY STAR certified replacement windows,
- residential batteries enrolled in ConnectedSolutions,
- heat pump projects, and
- heat pump water heaters.
If you are the homeowner and your project is a qualifying energy-efficient improvement found on the Mass Save website, you can apply for a Mass Save HEAT loan. Here’s what to do:
- Visit MassSave.com to confirm your eligibility, choose a participating contractor, work with a HEAT loan administrator, and complete the loan application.
- Secure the loan.
- Complete the upgrade and apply for a rebate at MassSave.com/savings.
- Complete the verification inspection.
