Financing your home energy upgrades just got easier in 2023. The maximum loan amount available through the Mass Save program for qualifying energy-efficient upgrades has been increased from $25,000 to $50,000. For heat pumps, the maximum loan is $50,000, and for insulation and combustion heating systems the amount is $25,000. These loans remain interest-free for 7 years.
If you are planning to do multiple projects, it is best to bundle the costs into one loan because recipients are eligible for only one loan.
