Join Us for the GN Transportation Group Meeting on June 10

Interested in how to make transportation healthier in Newton?  Join us for Green Newton’s Transportation Group online meeting on Thursday, June 10 from 1-2:30pm.

Items for discussion include:

  • how to help Newton achieve its climate action goal of 5% fewer vehicle miles traveled by 2025 (starting from 2019) based on The City of Newton’s Five-Year Climate Action Plan, pg. 12;
  • possible topics for the spring speakers event,  including the connection between housing, jobs and transportation;  greenhouse gas and particulate matter emissions; regional rail in Newton;
