Interested in helping Keep Newton Beautiful? Lets take advantage of the MBTA’s D Branch Line shutting down for maintenance this coming week. In cooperation with the City of Newton, a group of volunteers is planning a track cleanup this week between the Newton Highlands Station – Crystal Lake – Newton Centre Station area during this rare opportunity of complete train shutdown.
Volunteers are sought to help clean this litter-heavy zone beginning at the Newton Highlands T Stop. Volunteers must be 18+ and be wearing solid shoes. Please bring water, mask and gloves.
