The Newton Community Farm (NCF) will hold its annual Seedling Sale with 90+ varieties of vegetables, herbs, and some flowers (limited). There will also be two types of very high-quality soil and amendments for sale from the Vermont Compost Company; and NCF T-shirts for youth and adults.
All seedlings will be $6 per unit that they are started in, either a 6-pack, 4-pack, or pot depending on the type of plant. For example, a 6-pack of lettuce or a 4-pack of tomatoes or a potted perennial herb are all $6 each. Only full packs will be for sale. Please bring a cardboard box if you can to transfer your seedlings too, and also a wagon or cart may be helpful for transporting your purchase to your car. Trays will be available for $1. NCF accepts cash, check with id, credit card, HIP, and SNAP. More information is available on the NCF website.
