Have you ever stopped to wonder what really happens to everything we put in our garbage and recycling bins? Do you know how few things are recycled, and that the rest of our trash goes to incinerators and overloaded landfills, both of which poison our planet and our bodies?
Tune in to a lively and informative talk with Kirstie Pecci, senior attorney at the Conservation Law Foundation on Monday, September 20 from 7-8pm. Kirstie will explain all things Zero Waste, with stories of inspiring successes and an important reality check on what’s at stake in Massachusetts and beyond. If you’re concerned about waste and its impact on our children’s future, join us.
Kirstie heads the Zero Waste Program at Conservation Law Foundation and has shaped waste and incineration policy throughout the Northeast. She will help us find answers and encourage us to act to address the transition to Zero Waste in our own lives, in our town, and in our state.
This event is brought to you by the Zero Waste Team of Brookline Mothers Out Front.
