Monday, January 22 from 11am-1pm (screening starts at 12pm). Massachusetts State House, Room 428.
Did you know that plastic has been found everywhere from the deepest part of the ocean and remote mountain ranges to our bodies – even in our lungs and blood?
Oceana, Just-Zero, Conservation Law Foundation, and the Zero Waste Caucus invite you to join us for a complimentary lunch and screening of the new documentary “We’re All Plastic People Now” by Emmy award-winning filmmaker Rory Fielding. The film asks the pertinent question: how much evidence do we need before we decide to take action?
RSVP politely requested to ensure enough meals are ordered.
Increase the impact:
- Attend the January 22 film event at the State House to show our support of the Bottle Bill, plastic bag ban, and other plastics reduction legislation to MA Legislators.
- Contact your Legislators ahead of January 22 by emailing your legislators to let them know you will be at the event, encourage them to show up, and to stress that tackling plastic pollution is important to you. Find your MA Legislators here.
- Set up a face-to-face lobby meeting with your legislators before or after the film event to discuss priority legislation. (Fact sheets will be provided.)
- Share the event and information on social media and email friends and family.
