Saturday, October 19 from 11am-2pm. Boston Building Resources (100 Terrace St, Boston).
There will be a variety of family-friendly activities:
- Free food and music
- A Fixit Clinic: bring broken items that need repair – Fixit coaches will be on hand to help. (Volunteer as a Fixit coach.)
- A tie dye station: bring an old garment and make it new again
- Composting demonstrations and tips for composting at home
- Crafts for kids and a scavenger hunt
The event is free and open to everyone, so get the details and reserve a spot! Sponsored by Boston Building Resources, a member co-op and charitable nonprofit that accepts donations of new and gently used materials for resale.
