The Newton Swap Shop is opening for the 2023 season and will operate Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 7:30am-1:30pm (weather permitting) through October. Located at the Resource Recovery Center (115 Rumford Ave., Auburndale), you can drop off clean, usable, items in good condition for reuse. You can also take usable goods for personal use. All items must be approved by a volunteer before being dropped off. Open to Newton residents only – proof of residency required upon request.

- TVs or monitors
- Large or stuffed furniture
- Large appliances
- Hazardous materials
- Building materials
