Spring is finally here, and April 1 kicks off Earth Month! With Newton’s homes and vehicles emitting around 60% of the City’s greenhouse gases, we are dedicating the entire month to the top actions you can take to reduce your carbon footprint.
We’ll be focusing each week on one of the four climate actions from the City of Newton’s 4 Our Future campaign. Taking these four actions will have the biggest impact on climate change, and will help us reach our city’s goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2050:
- Upgrade to Heat Pump
- Insulate to the Max
- Drive Electric
- Go Solar
