Want a statewide bag law? Tell your legislators!
We’re now at 95 bag laws statewide, with many more in the works. It’s time to ban single use plastic bags statewide and encourage reusable bag use by placing a fee on paper bags.
The Joint Committee on Environment, Natural Resources, and Agriculture (ENRA) is going to be holding a hearing in Boston on the statewide bag bill on Tuesday, April 2 at 1pm at the Massachusetts State House, Room A-2. Come if you can, and tell our legislators to listen to the voice of the people! Let’s Pass That Bag Bill!
If you can’t get to Boston, please contact your legislator and ask him or her to support Bill H.771/S. 462.
