On March 18, Halina Brown, Chair of the Newton Citizens Commission on Energy, updated residents on Newton’s achievements to date on our 2019 Climate Action Plan. She also highlighted the challenges ahead and explained what citizens can do to contribute to our progress, drawing on recent research on effective ways to reduce greenhouse gas emission.
Halina Brown is Professor Emerita of Environmental Science and Policy at Clark University. She is also a co-founder of the Sustainable Consumption Research and Action Initiative, an international knowledge network.
