Last month, the Massachusetts legislature passed the Climate and Clean Energy Bill — a significant step forward in our state’s goals to address the climate crisis. This bill will:
- Decarbonize transportation
- Expand offshore wind
- Protect rate-payers
- Adjust renewables incentives
Now, the bill sits on Governor Baker’s desk ready for his signature. He has just ten days to sign it into law. Without his signature, the bill dies and the Commonwealth loses the opportunity to pass climate legislation this year.
There is no time to waste. We must take meaningful climate action and get this bill over the finish line. We need your help encouraging the Governor to sign the bill before time runs out.
Take action now by emailing Governor Baker.
