The Newton Swap Shop (Newton Resource Recovery Center, 115 Rumford Ave., Auburndale) will open for the 2025 season on April 24 and will operate Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 7:30am-1:30pm (weather and staff availability permitting) through mid-October.
Come browse to find new and old interesting items–housewares, toys, sporting goods, clothing, smaller home furnishings, games & puzzles… all kinds of things. There is a 30 minute browsing limit.
Drop off your no-longer-used items. All items must be fully working, clean, and on our acceptable items list, and must be approved by our volunteers. Open to Newton residents only – proof of residency required upon request.
