Sign up for the Winter Sowing Workshop on January 6

Saturday, January 6 from 1-3pm. First Parish of Watertown (35 Church St, Watertown).

Learn to grow your own plants from seed with a mini greenhouse crafted from an empty milk or water jug. This is an in-person, hands-on, free event.

  • Grow perennial flowers to support our local pollinators, birds, and biodiversity. (Best time to plant is December – February.)
  • Grow cold-hardy vegetables in a small shady spot for the winter. ( Best time to plant is January – March.)
