Saturday, February 3 at 10:30am. Children’s Program Room, Newton Free Library (330 Homer St., Newton).
Bring your stuffie for songs, stories, and repairs. The stuffie hospital will restuff, stitch up tears, glue noses back on, and get your stuffie ready for more love. Volunteers will be available to assist with repairs, but we encourage DIYers who want to use the provided supplies to work with their child on the repair. This is a great opportunity to instill the value of building the confidence and skills to fix broken items, extend their useful life, and save them from the landfill.
Kids of all ages are welcome, but the storytime books and songs will be selected for kids 0-4. Registration is required. This program is co-sponsored with the Department of Public Works and the Mayor’s Advisory Committee on Recycling.
