Saturday, July 27 from 10am-3pm. MIT Ray and Maria Stata Center (32 Vassar Street, Cambridge).

FIRE Summit Greater Boston: Progress Toward Renewables is a FREE youth-led event to discuss the transition from fossil fuels to clean energy both in homes and at a policy level, the companies that try to stall climate priorities in the state house, those pushing for alternatives in-state, and the issues that are faced by homeowners currently because of fossil fuels.

The summit will feature a keynote speaker and workshops hosted by either an expert in the field or a youth organization to discuss our future with energy, both non-renewable and clean sources. While this event focuses on youth, all members of the Greater Boston community are welcome to join and learn more. Lunch (free) will be available to attendees.
