On Saturday, September 15 at 11am at the Brattle Theatre (40 Brattle St., Cambridge), Green Newton is co-sponsoring the Boston premiere of Power Struggle, a ground-breaking documentary on the fight to shut down Vermont Yankee nuclear power plant. Come learn from Vermont activists how we can safely shut down Pilgrim nuclear power plant, which is only 35 air miles from Boston and rated LEAST SAFE in the entire country.
The film will be followed by a panel discussion, with participation by former Governor Michael Dukakis. Admission is $10, however no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
