On Thursday, November 17, Nathan Phillips, Professor in the Department of Earth and Environment at Boston University, and Dr. Dorie Seavey, a Boston-based applied research economist, spoke about the work of organizations and individuals who are dedicated to finding and fixing gas leaks. They discussed how we can make a safe, swift and just transition to electrification of the building heating sector for a healthier, safer and more resilient community and climate. This program was co-sponsored by Green Newton and Newton Mothers Out Front.
