Wednesday, June 12 at 7pm. Online.
What are “embodied carbon”, “operational carbon”, and “net-zero emissions”, and why are these so fundamental to any discussion of climate change? What needs to be done to address these issues? This webinar will help to demystify the many questions that many of us have about the impacts of carbon, our efforts to encourage thoughtful development, move away from fossil fuels, and much more.
Lincoln Green Energy Committee’s CFREE committee will host a presentation by Timothy Lock, the Management Partner at Opal Architecture focusing on sustainable building, an advisor to the White House on National Net Zero Emissions, chair of the AIA’s Zero Carbon Working Group, and a dedicated advocate for thoughtful design and construction.
The event will be recorded and posted on the Green Energy’s website in the event that you cannot join us on the 12th. If you have any specific questions that you would like posed to Tim, please feel free to send me an email.
