Recycle Smart (MassDEP) offers information on the how’s and why’s of the recycling process including what can be recycled curbside. It is very important that we place only accepted items into the recycling carts. Adding banned items “contaminates” the processed materials so that entire bales cannot be accepted for recycling. Adding banned items also created potential hazards for workers on the line who have to pull items out. When in doubt, leave it out!
