Let the Green Newton Plant-Based Coaching Program Help You Get More Plants into Your Meals

Do you want to reduce your environmental footprint by eating more plant-based foods, but aren’t sure where to start? Consult a Green Newton Plant-Based Eating Coach!

Our Plant-Based Coaching Program is designed to help residents include more plant-based meals in their lives. Our experienced, volunteer coaches are ready to help you through fun and practical activities such as:

  • meetups, phone calls and virtual connections for people seeking information on eating and cooking more plants;
  • grocery store and farmers market field trips;
  • in-person and virtual cooking classes;
  • plant-based book groups;
  • recipe sharing and curating; and
  • plant-based kitchen hacks.

Our goal is to build a community of neighbors who want to drive meaningful change through the food on our plates. Whether that’s at home, in school, or at your favorite restaurant, we look forward to working with you as we work to put the Garden City on the path to a greener, more sustainable future.

The Plant-Based Coaching Program is a new initiative around plant-based eating by the Green Newton Green Plate Committee. The committee works to raise awareness of the environmental benefits of plant-based eating, and offers resources to enable individuals, schools, and local area businesses to move towards a greener, more sustainable plate.
