Join the MBTA on Monday, September 23 from 6-8 pm at the Newton Free Library (330 Homer St., Newton) as they discuss the planned improvements to the MBTA D-Line. This meeting is part of a series of Green Line meetings sponsored by the MBTA.
As part of the current $8 billion, 5-year capital investment plan, the MBTA is rebuilding and transforming the Green Line. The Green Line Transformation Project will improve Green Line quality of service by investing in projects to increase capacity and enhance accessibility, modernize the fleet, upgrade infrastructure and facilities, and make the system more resilient in the event of extreme weather.
