We hope to see you at our next Green Newton School Connections meeting. We are getting closer to incorporating paid Green Team Captains into our schools to create consistent sustainability efforts from year to year and across different schools. We’ll talk more about this on Thursday. Also, Judy Lehrer Jacobs will also join us to talk about her new role as the first ever Green Newton Executive Director. Green Newton School Connections (GNSC) is a collaborative group of students, families, educators and community members who aim to build a just, healthy, sustainable and climate-resilient community. School Connections aspires to help our schools educate students and empower them to be climate advocates and sustainability leaders. The group meets every month on the second Thursday from 4:30-5:30pm.
