Join Newton Dem’s Climate Crisis Subcommittee for this public forum on the dilemma created by a relative abundance of gas and existing and growing supportive infrastructure versus the urgency of the need for economy-wide decarbonization in order to avoid the worst effects of climate change. Topics covered will include potential pathways and timelines for reducing dependence on gas, the economics of competing visions for the future of gas and substitutes generally, and how to make your voice heard in this important national discussion.
