We hope to see you at our next Green Newton School Connections meeting. Marc Welch will share information about his role as City of Newton Director of Urban Forestry and talk about how he can partner with schools. Please invite other NPS & Newton community members who might be interested in helping to green our schools,  especially Newton Public School staff who may be interested in the soon-to-be stipended role of Green Captain at each school. Green Newton School Connections (GNSC) is a collaborative group of students, families, educators and community members who aim to build a just, healthy, sustainable and climate-resilient community. School Connections aspires to help our schools educate students and empower them to be climate advocates and sustainability leaders. The group meets every month on the second Thursday from 4:30-5:30pm.
