Position Overview

We are seeking passionate and committed individuals to join Green Newton’s Fundraising Committee. As a committee member, you will play a key role in helping to secure the resources necessary to expand Green Newton’s impact. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute your skills, connections, and enthusiasm to advance local climate action.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing fundraising strategies to support Green Newton’s programs and initiatives.
• Identify potential donors, sponsors, and grant opportunities.
• Help plan and promote fundraising events, campaigns, and donor appreciation activities.
• Engage in donor outreach, including making introductions and fostering relationships.
• Collaborate with Green Newton staff and board members to align fundraising efforts with organizational goals.
• Advocate for Green Newton’s mission and encourage community support.

Qualifications

• Passion for environmental sustainability and community engagement.
• Experience in fundraising, event planning, donor relations, or related fields (preferred but not required).
• Strong communication and networking skills.
• Ability to collaborate with a team and take initiative.
• Enthusiasm for helping to grow Green Newton’s financial resources.
