Tuesday, May 21 at 5:30pm. Newton Centre Green.

Mass Power Forward is holding seven mini-rallies across the state to demand that the Massachusetts legislature pass critical climate bills now. Join the rally in Newton Centre and show that you want to see action on climate legislation before the statehouse session ends.

RSVP for the rally  here – or just show up.

As of May 21, there will be only 60 days left in this year’s state legislative session. The MPF coalition’s rally message to the statehouse is this: pass critical climate bills now, while there is time to craft good solutions, not rushed compromises.

For three sessions in a row, important bills have been left to the last minute, making it nearly impossible for legislators and the public to engage in a meaningful democratic process.

MPF’s 2023-24 legislative priorities are focused on climate justice bills: bills for clean air, for putting gas in the past, for equitable decarbonization of our homes and buildings, and for siting and permitting energy facilities with justice at the heart.
