The proposal to build a gas compressor station in the Fore River Basin poses a serious health risk, especially when in such close proximity to a dense residential area. This compressor is part of the Atlantic Bridge pipeline project to bring fracked natural gas through New England and into Canada.
Mass Power Forward is organizing protests on August 2 or 5 at 12pm to urge the Governor to deny remaining permits for the Weymouth Compressor Station.
Protestors will assemble in the hallway outside the Governor’s office in the State House in Boston. Please arrive with enough time to get through security and take the stairs or elevator to the 3rd floor.
