Newton Rolls Out Summer Campaign to Improve Recycling

To improve recycling quality, Newton is launching a community-wide education campaign and curbside recycling inspections starting June 15. You may see staff in yellow vests lifting up the lid on your recycling cart at the curb on trash day.

Residents will be notified if unacceptable items are found, and carts with repeated contamination may not be collected. Learn to keep contamination out of your recycling and recycle right by checking the Recycle Right tool on the City of Newton Recycling website.
