The Caterpillar Lab returns to Garden in the Woods! This drop-in exhibit offers a close look at a variety of local caterpillar species, with opportunities to explore metamorphosis and discover the strange, surprising, and very real adaptations that help these creatures thrive. Visit for a few minutes or linger awhile — there’s always something new to notice. Designed to engage everyone from curious kids to experienced naturalists and professional biologists. The event is free with garden admission.
