Newton's Earth Day Festival 2023

Sunday, April 23 from 12-4pm

War Memorial Circle

Newton City Hall

(1000 Commonwealth Ave., Newton)

*In the event of rain, the festival will be located indoors at the War Memorial Auditorium, with some activities still outdoors. EV test drives and expo will take place as planned*

Bring your friends and family to Newton’s own Earth Day Festival for live music, petting zoo, face painting, green technology showcase, an EV expo with test drives, nature themed activities, and more.

Are you looking to lead a greener lifestyle? We have a terrific line-up of exhibitors ready to answer all your questions on waste reduction & composting, electric vehicles, solar power, insulation, heat pumps, gardening & pollination.
Are you considering an Electric Vehicle? Check out the EV Display at the festival, where many of our Newton neighbors will be available to tell you more about their experience. This is the perfect time to ask an EV owner about charging stations, EV ranges, pricing and other questions. There will even be test drives available for select cars! See below for more information on registering for a test drive.
Our Earth Day Festival is jam packed with fun activities for kiddos of all ages - face painting, a petting zoo, music from Little Beats, and much more!
More interested in bikes? We'll have E-bikes on display so you can see first-hand how they can help get you around town! Plus, join Bike Newton for a special Earth Day bike ride.
Enjoy live music from local bands. Get ready to hear some great tunes to inspire us all on Earth Day!
