Earth Day is just around the corner, and Green Newton is gearing up for our annual celebration at Newton North High School on Sunday, April 27 from 12-4pm. We’re bringing together our community to learn, connect, and celebrate a more sustainable future – but we can’t do it without your amazing support!

We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make this year’s Earth Day event the best one yet.

We need volunteers for the following roles:

  • Set-Up Crew (Saturday, April 26, Afternoon): Help us get the festival grounds ready the day before! This involves chalking out booth spaces and setting up signs.
  • Morning Set-Up (Sunday, April 27, 9:30am-12pm): Join us bright and early to set up booths and put the finishing touches on the event before the crowds arrive.
  • Activity Supervisors (12-4pm): Help keep the energy high by supervising fun and engaging activities like the Green Tool Garage (where we’ll be showcasing sustainable equipment), the Eco-Treat Trail (hand out trivia sheets and cookies) and various games.
  • Raffle Registration (12-4pm): Be a friendly face and sign attendees up for our exciting Earth Day raffle.
  • Breakdown Crew (4-6pm): Help us pack everything up efficiently after a successful event. Many hands make light work.

Ready to roll up your sleeves and make a difference?

Sign up here to volunteer by filling out this form and let us know which role(s) and time slots work for you.

Every hour of your time helps us create a memorable and impactful Earth Day celebration for our community. We can’t wait to see you there!
