Have you made your home more energy-efficient, climate-friendly, or sustainable? We are looking for homeowners or renters who would be willing to share their experience with other Newton residents. Past participants have showcased:
- a sustainably grown yard
- home composting, backyard or with a service
- insulation and airsealing
- solar panels
- heat pumps
- heat pump water heaters
- heat pump dryers
- induction cooking
- electric vehicles
- geothermal heating and cooling
The showcase will be held at the Newton Free Library in November, and Green Newton will help create the presentation materials. If you can volunteer a few hours to help spread the word on making homes more green, please contact armela@greennewton.org.
