Newton’s annual Earth Day Festival is just around the corner, bringing a lively afternoon of music, food, and hands-on activities to Zervas Elementary School on Sunday, May 3 from 12–3:30pm.
This year’s festival is bigger than ever, with 40+ local vendors, live performances, and interactive experiences for all ages. Families can enjoy kids activities like facepainting, a scavenger hunt with prizes, and create art at our eARTh Version and Vision Gallery, while adults can explore practical ways to live more sustainably—from clean energy to composting and beyond.
Enjoy live music throughout the afternoon, including jazz from the All Newton Music School and Disney favorites performed by Tufts Enchanted.
New this year, don’t miss the Seed Swap (bring seeds or just come explore!) and the expanded Conscious Closet & RePlay Corner, where you can thrift and donate gently used items.
Come hungry—local favorites like The Chubby Chickpea, Papi’s Stuffed Sopapillas, and FoMu Ice Cream will be there.
