The Newton Community Farm will have 99 varieties of vegetables, flowers, and herbs for sale on May 16 and 17. If you’d like to plan ahead, you can look at the varieties list ahead of the sale. In addition to seedlings, there will be soil and amendments for sale from the Vermont Compost Company.
Pricing: all 4-packs and 6-packs of herbs and seedlings are $6 along with our 4″ pots of perennial herbs. All tomatoes and hot peppers will be in single 4″ pots for $5.
Once again, the Seedling Sale will be BYOB (bring your own box) in an effort to reduce waste. There will be trays available for purchase for $1 but if you can, bring a box or another container to take your seedlings home in.
