Bring surplus plants, tools, seeds, gardening supplies, or gardening books to the Historic Newton’s annual Plant Swap and take home new ones.
How does the plant swap work?
As you check in, volunteers will confirm the number of plants/supplies you’ve brought, provide you with tickets for that number of items, and help bring your plants to the swap area. Once you’ve checked in, you’re welcome to start looking for plants.
When you’re finished you’ll check out with volunteers. They will confirm that the number of items you’re taking matches your number of tickets. After that, you’re all set!
If you cannot attend the event but have items to offer, you can drop them off at the Durant-Kenrick House and Grounds on Friday, June 12 from 12-4pm.
