The documentary The Plastic Detox, that debuted on Netflix on March 16, 2026, follows six couples with unexplained infertility as they take steps to reduce their exposure to plastics in the hopes it will help them conceive. It also follows the research of Dr. Swan and other experts in the field, covering the impact on human development and showing how we can take matters into our own hands.
Beyond Plastics will host a free webinar about the film with the director Louie Psihoyos; Shanna Swan, PhD, a scientist featured in the film; and Eric and Julie Isaac, one of the couples featured in the film.
