Join us for Newton’s 4th Annual Earth Day Festival, a celebration of all things green for the whole family! Groove to live music and savor delicious food while discovering countless ways to make a positive impact. Explore booths hosted by local businesses and nonprofits, offering guidance on everything from going solar and choosing electric vehicles to home insulation and composting.
Earn a cookie by completing our Eco-Trivia Treat Trail, and discover hidden gems at our thrifting corner. Plus, equip yourself with sustainable tools and tips at the Green Tool Garage, featuring battery-powered lawn care and more. Little ones will love the petting zoo, face painting, and engaging nature-themed activities, making this Earth Day a memorable and educational experience for everyone.
 
ELECTRIC VEHICLE DISPLAY Are you considering an Electric Vehicle? Check out the EV Display at the festival, where many of our Newton neighbors will be available to tell you more about their experience. This is the perfect time to ask an EV owner about charging stations, EV ranges, pricing and other questions.

In the market for an electric car or plug-in hybrid? Newton’s EV Task Force will be on hand with details on the latest cars available, prices, and information on tax credits and rebates. Plus, we will have several EVs on display, with their owners nearby to answer any questions you might have!

Walk, bike, bus, or drive to the event! The Earth Day Festival will take place at Newton North High School in the parking lot on Walnut Street at Elm Road. Take the T to Newtonville, the 59 Bus right to the High School, or join us by bike! There will also be street parking available as well as the parking lot on Lowell Ave.
