Want to explore ways to reduce costs at your house of worship and promote sustainability?
Join us for the spring Greening Your House of Worship gathering, where you’ll learn how to save on bulk purchases and reduce costs on energy improvements for your house of worship. Connect with other faith leaders and congregants to share experiences in working in congregations on sustainability.
Presenters from Elephant Energy, ReVision Energy, and the Community Purchase Alliance – Massachusetts will provide an overview of how your congregation can reduce costs on general supplies and energy equipment through bulk purchasing. You’ll also have an opportunity to discuss your successes and challenges in implementing energy improvements and practices that protect the environment.
This event is perfect for anyone involved in building or purchasing decisions—clergy, financial teams, green teams, property managers, board members, and other congregants.
Free event hosted by Green Newton, First Unitarian Universalist Society in Newton’s Climate Action Task Force, and Boston Catholic Climate Movement.
