You have certainly noticed by now that Governor Baker has suspended the use of reusable bags in retail establishments, and Newton has suspended the polystyrene and plastic bag ban ordinances–all in the name of public safety in fighting the coronavirus outbreak. There is, however, little scientific evidence that reusable bags carry the virus more than plastic bags.
