Tip of the Week: What to do After Halloween Has Ended

When Halloween is done, here are some tips for a proper clean up:
  • Candy wrappers are NOT recyclable. Enjoy your treat stash, then send the wrappers to the trash. When in doubt about an item’s recyclability, check RecyclingWorks Smart’s Recyclopedia first.
  • Bring your pumpkins to be composted at the Newton Pumpkin Smash.
  • You can also bring your unwanted Halloween costumes and candy to the Pumpkin Smash.
